Here a few position descriptions:
Repair Assistance
Helping with repairing used medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, rollator walkers, etc. Mechanical/handyman skills extremely helpful. Volunteer does not need to be able to only help during our open hours. If our current hours don't match yours, volunteer may come in when shop is officially closed to work.
Warehouse Assistance
Assisting clients with requests for medical equipment and supplies. Receiving donations of items. Inventorying and stocking items on shelves. Assisting with cleaning equipment. Volunteer must be able to handle a lot of walking due to the size of our warehouse, as well as being able to carry and lift items as we accept donations and retrieve items that are requested. Our current hours of operation are Mondays and Thursdays 10-2pm. Looking for volunteers to commit to helping at least one day a week. We hope to have enough volunteers by this Fall to increase our days open to MWF 10-2pm.
Pickup and Delivery
We need strong volunteers who have a truck and are able to assist with picking up and delivering larger equipment such as hospital beds. We often have folks in need, but who do not have a truck or are not physically able to pick up or drop off larger items. This would be on an as needed basis and can work around the volunteer's available schedule.
If you have any unanswered questions, please contact Annie at: adodd@allblessingsflow.org . A printed Volunteer Application, as well as an online version, is below. We look forward to working with you!
