How To: Request Medical Equipment

1. First, please call or email (see below) to see if we have your requested item(s) in stock. Include your Name, Address, Phone #, and Details about your request.
2. ABF will contact you about your request. If all is in order and we have the item(s) available, you may arrange pickup at our warehouse during open hours. 
3. (If we do not have an item requested, we will place you on our waitlist and contact you when the item becomes available. In the meantime, we will make every effort to find the needed equipment through our network of partners.)
4. We ask each recipient to fill out a brief one-page Intake/request form with basic information and a signature required for a Liability Waiver (see below). 
5. Upon receiving your item(s), we will give basic training for each specific piece of equipment for proper use and increased safety. We may also make further equipment recommendations based on each individual’s needs assessment.
6. Items are gifted to each recipient from All Blessings Flow at no cost. Of course, if the recipient is able to make a donation to our mission to help towards operating expenses, we would greatly appreciate the support.

​How To: Donate Medical Equipment

1. If you have gently used medical equipment you wish to donate, you may drop off your donations at our warehouse at Riverside Center during open hours. 
2. Drive down behind UVA Primary Care to the lower level on the backside of the building. We are doing curbside service, so honk your horn, and someone will be right out to assist you.
3. Please DO NOT leave items outside our door after hours without permission.
4. ​We ask that equipment is cleaned and preferably in good working condition. We do repair many items such as wheelchairs, rollators, walkers, shower chairs, tub benches, bedside commodes, etc. 
5. ​Ordinarily, we DO NOT accept motorized items that are no longer in working order, such as electric hospital beds, recliner lift chairs, or powerchairs and scooters. However, we do accept powerchairs/scooters that only need working batteries as long as they were operational when the batteries were still working.
6. Please call or email if you have any questions about the item(s) you wish to donate. Include your Name, Address, Phone #, and Details about your item(s). ABF will contact you with more information.
